The Director General of the National Lottery Authority also an Aspiring Member of Parliament hopeful for Akuapem North Sammy Awuku has hit back on the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC saying they should begin to count their defeat since the 2024 general elections will not favour them.
According to Sammy Awuku breaking the 8 is bound to happen and nobody should underestimate the New Patriotic Party in any day.
Sammy Awuku said ” breaking the 8 is highly possible and I can tell you for a fact that 2024 election is not going in favour of the NDC , don’t underestimate the will of the people and sometimes we turn to think for them which is the mistake that people make”
“The people themselves weigh both parties and weigh both governance in the past in terms of policies ,programs and the things that the NPP could do for the people when it gets there we will explain our policies and we will leave the narrative for victory” he explained further.
The Aspiring Member of Parliament hopeful assured that the NPP will work hard to mobilize enough votes to win the 2024 election.
On his chances of winning the Akuapem North seat for the NPP , Sammy Awuku reiterated his determination by saying he will ride on his credentials and past experience as Youth Organizer and National Organizer for the party and work hard to win massive votes for the NPP in the Akuapem North Constituency.
Sammy Awuku made the disclosure in an interview with the media at Akropong- Akuapem in the Eastern region during the “Ofie Mega Walk With Sammy Awuku” on Friday 4th August, 2023.
The former National Organizer manage to pull crowed of not less than thousand to support the walk which started from Amanokrom and ended at Akropong.
The Ofie Mega Walk was accompanied by some Regional and Constituency Executives of the Party.
