Ghana coach Otto Addo has presented his squad for games against Angola and Niger to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for final assessment, excluding home-based players.
The Black Stars will begin their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month and will take on Angola before Niger.
Ghana will play host to Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium before they travel to face Niger in the second group game.
According to reports, there is no place for domestic players following Otto Addo’s decision to stick to only foreign-based players.
The former Talent Development coach for Dortmund will be eyeing a flying start to the AFCON qualifiers as they seek to secure a place at the tournament.
Ghana, who are four-times champions of the AFCON are paired in Group F against Angola, Sudan and Niger.
The two top countries from each group will secure qualification to the AFCON tournament to be held in Morocco between 2025 December and January 2026.
