Ghana have been paired in Group F against Sudan, Niger and Angola for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The draw for the qualifier took place today, July 4, 2024, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Interestingly, Ghana will battle it out with former coach Kwesi Appiah, who is currently the head of the Sudan technical team.
The group seems to be a tricky one, posing threats on the Black Stars team who are keen to secure qualification to the tournament to be staged in Morocco next year.
The winner of the group will secure automatic qualification to the CAF’s biggest event on the continent.
The qualifying series will start in September 2024 to determine the first 24 nations from the 48 teams that will compete for Africa’s biggest event.
