Accra, Ghana – Nana Yaw Sarpong has called for a more business-friendly economic environment as the government prepares to present the 2025 national budget.
Speaking on TV3 New Day, he emphasized that the current economic landscape does not support entrepreneurship and is failing to sustain existing businesses.
“Our economy is not entrepreneurial-friendly, and it does not adequately support existing businesses,” Sarpong stated, urging policymakers to address these challenges in the upcoming budget.
He further stressed the need for the budget to provide clarity on key government projects and ensure that accessible loan facilities are available to both startups and established enterprises to drive economic growth and job creation.
As the nation anticipates the budget presentation, business owners and industry stakeholders are hopeful that these concerns will be addressed to stimulate a more vibrant and resilient economy.
