Member of Parliament for Asene-Manso-Akroso (A.M.A) Constituency on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Eastern Region, Honourable George Kwame Aboagye has pledged to lobby for rural electrification projects into 22 Communities in his area before the end of 2020.
From 1976 to 2016, only 18 out of 340 Communities in the constituency were connected to the National Electricity grid and from 2017 to 2019 under the leadership of Nana Akuffo-Addo,32 communities have benefited from rural electrification program.
Speaking with his constituents on Christmas day, Honourable George Kwame Aboagye urged Ghanaians to have patience with the Nana Akuffo-Addo led administration as the government is committed to share national cake to every corner in the country.
He assured his people that 2020 will be a year of road construction and fortunately, some roads in A.M.A are expected to get a 21.5kilometer road to be constructed which includes Manso Township road, Manso to Osenase and other areas which are in a deplorable state.
On education, the MP said the government is Constructing Dormitory, ICT center, Library, six Unit classroom block for Manso Senior High school while plans are underway for 12 Unit classroom block story building for Akroso and Manso Senior High school.
The Legislature said the government is upgrading Manso Health center and currently, the construction of Administration, Laboratory and Consulting room is underway and urged people in the area to patronage their services to encourage the government to upgrade it into District Hospital.
