Adansi North District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Kusi Kwaku Eric has sent a message of goodwill to candidates writing the 2022 West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in his district.
The DCE said this on Monday after praying for Students of the Dompoase Senior High School, Fomena T. I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School and Asare Bediako Senior High School, Akrokerri the District.
“This year, you will score 100% and lift high the name of this District,” he said.
The DCE called on all candidates in his area to strictly adhere to all procedures guiding the writing of the exams to avoid any possible cancellations of subjects and even their entire results.
I want to take this opportunity to plead with the school authority, and parents to put in place stern measures to prevent any malpractice. DCE noted.
The 2022 examination started yesterday, Monday, August 1, 2022.
Information from the West African Examinations Council’s (WAEC) website revealed that the candidates would begin with project work subjects such as basketry, ceramics and graphic design on Monday, August 1.
On Monday, August 29, 2022, the candidates would write the English language (oral) paper.
English language (essay and objectives) would be written on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
A total of 422,883 candidates from 977 schools registered for the WASSCE after the extended closing date of April 8, 2022.
The figure included 72 candidates with visual impairment, made up of 39 males and 33 females, as well as 14 candidates with hearing impairment.
