Thirty (30) beneficiaries of the National Apprenticeship program have received their start up kits from the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly as promised by government.
Beneficiaries received sewing machines, kneating machines and others that will help them acquire knowledge within the stipulated time.
The Municipal Chief Executive for New Juaben North Samuel Adongo in his message challenged beneficiaries to make good use of the opportunity and acquire knowledge for the betterment of their lives and that of their families.
He emphasized that government has walked the campaign talk and, therefore, urged the beneficiaries to ensure government’s investment does not go waste but rather have great impact as expected.
Mr. Adongo also appealed to their instructors to take good care of the beneficiaries and train them well to fit into the latest fashion space.

“And to the masters, I am pleading with you to desist from engaging beneficiaries in unproductive activities so as to ensure they have enough time to learn. They are not your slaves so you must treat them as your own siblings” the MCE added.
He again warned both instructors and beneficiaries from either selling the start-up kits or using them different purposes.
Mr. Emmanuel Asante, the Regional Coordinator for the NAP on his part called for cordial relationship between instructors and beneficiaries at all times.
He assured beneficiaries that they will be provided with working materials when completed and challenged them to be serious in whatever they do.
