Theophilus Ofori Amanfo, a 35-year-old teacher at New Edubiase D/A Junior High School ‘B’ in the Adansi South District of the Ashanti region, has died in a fire incident that engulfed his residence on October 7, 2025.
The Presiding Member for Adansi South District, Cosmos Darkwah Amoah confirmed the incident to Bryt fm News, noting Mr. Ofori had recently been posted to New Edubiase from Ponkoase D/A Basic School, also in Adansi South.
The body has been deposited at the morgue while the police have begun investigations into the incident.
