Former Asante Kotoko forward Alex Asamoah is not thinking about retirement as he eyes a return to the pitch.
The most expensive footballer in the local scene has been out of action for while due to injury setbacks.
In an interview with Angel TV, the former Ghana Premier League goal king disclosed he will soon return to the field having recovered from his injury.
“I have not retired from football yet, very soon, I will return to the pitch. I have been out for a while due to some injuries but now, I am fit and ready to play” he said.
The 37-year-old still remain the most expensive signing in the Ghana Premier League following his move from Ashantigold to Asante Kotoko in 2008.
He featured for a host of clubs domestically before departing for greener pastures.
