A total of 127 families or 456 individuals from two island communities in Guimaras were evacuated ahead of the landfall of Super Typhoon.
Prior to this, 85 families or 305 individuals from Unisan Island in Nueva Valencia were forced to evacuate by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office last December 15.
Meanwhile, 42 families or 151 individuals were also evacuated from Sitio Naoay in Barangay San Isidro, Sibunag on Thursday morning as the province was raised to Storm.
