At least 80 Pub operators have been arrested for defying Covid-19 protocols during Valentine’s Day Celebration in Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
The arrests were made by a task force constituted by the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly to enforce the directives.
Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Awutu Senya East Municipality, Hon Michael Yaw Essuman Mensah speaking to Bryt FM News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah revealed he is more overwhelmed over how residents have responded to the mask-wearing initiative.
He said this when the Municipal Assembly commissioned six (6) Units Classroom Blocks for Residents in Awutu Awushie Tetteh.
