A two-year-old boy has died in an underground water reservoir at the Koforidua Police Training School in the Eastern Region.
The two-year-old drowned in an underground concrete reservoir near block -1 residential building in the school.
The boy reportedly went missing in the afternoon shortly before a heavy rainstorm but was found dead in the reservoir around 5:00pm after the rains on Sunday, May 3, 2020.
The deceased boy was the last and third child of the mother. He was birthed months after his father-a Police Officer died.
His body was retrieved and deposited at the morgue but released to the family on Monday for burial.
