Chairman of Parliamentary Select Committee on Sports, Youth and Culture, Alex Agyekum says the return of Ghana’s outcast Kevin-Prince Boateng into the Black Stars depends on the technical team spearheaded by Charles Kwabla Akonnor.
The former AC Milan and Barcelona forward quit the Black Stars after the 2014 World Cup but recently hinted at a return to the senior national team.
In an interview he said, “He is a Ghanaian and if he has shown signs of remorse by apologizing, we will accept his apology but as to whether he should be accepted back in the team or not, I don’t have the power”
“If the technical bench headed by C.K Akonnor believes that Boateng has something to help and would want to bring him, we are all for it. I don’t have any problem” he ended.
