Hearts of Oak have stepped up their pursuit of Gold Stars goal poacher Maxwell Boakye.
Boakye has emerged as a top transfer target for the Phobians in the second round of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League following his distinctive display in the ongoing National Division One League season.
Speaking to Bryt FM, the striker confirmed that Hearts of Oak has contacted him for his service.
“Yes its true, four clubs have contacted me. Legon Cities, Karela United, Dreams FC and Olympics are chasing me”
“Hearts of Oak have also called me. I spoke with their coach Edward Odoom three days ago and he made it known that he wants me at the club”
“He told me to forget the past and join them because it is a new Hearts of Oak but I told him to wait”
He has ranked up 10 goals in 13 matches for the Bibiani based club.
