Deputy Youth and Sports Minister, Perry Curtis Kwabla Okudzeto has recounted the impact of coronavirus on the ministry.
According to him, the ministry’s revenue has been heavily affected due to the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus that has wrecked the world.
The disease has led to the suspension of all football related activities.
Speaking on the effect of the virus on the sports ministry, he said, “The impact has been serious in the sense that we as a ministry and the sports industry in general, it is the activities that go on in the sector that generate incomes for us”
“With the shutting down of all sporting activities, clearly there is no revenue going to come in from the various facilities,” he said.
