The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, will officially open the Sub-Regional Consultations on Cross-Border Cooperation at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
The Minister will deliver a keynote address at the high-level engagement, which brings together Heads and selected staff of the Boundary Commissions of Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Mali.
Under the auspices of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the consultations, taking place from 20–21 May 2026, will focus on strengthening stakeholder collaboration, integrated border governance, and jointly defining priorities for effective cross-border cooperation.
