The Deputy Minister for Transport, Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has paid a working visit to Meridian Port Services (MPS) to familiarise herself with the operations of the company.
During the visit, she commended MPS for its technological advancements, particularly in the use of Optical Character Recognition (OCR), electric vehicles, and its commitment to supporting the Government’s 24-hour economy initiative.
The Deputy Minister interacted with staff responsible for monitoring and coordinating operations from the control centre and expressed appreciation for their dedication and professionalism in ensuring smooth port operations.
