Bankroller of Tema Youth Wilfred Osei Palmer has emphasized that football in the country will never be the same when the coronavirus crisis ends.
The world’s most loved sports have been hit by the Covid-19 disease for the past two months with most of the leagues being suspended.
Though some of the leagues have made a return, it is not being played the same as it has been done in the past.
Most of the leagues planning to resume next month will be playing behind closed doors with special measures put in place to avoid the spread of the virus.
However, according to the former Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association, football will never be where it was after the pandemic.
“There will be no way we will be back to where we left off after this pandemic. As we speak, clubs are owing player salaries because the revenues from the gate proceed some use to pay players are no more” he said.
