The Upper West Regional Police Command has seized 192 compressed wraps of substances suspected to be cocaine and arrested two persons in connection with an alleged narcotics trafficking and distribution network in the region.
The suspects, identified as 26-year-old Abdulai Isaac, a driver’s mate, and Iddrisu Kamaldeen, a customer, have been remanded by the Wa Magistrate Court to reappear on October 9, 2026, as police investigations continue.
According to the Upper West Regional Police Command, the arrests followed credible intelligence received on the transportation of suspected cocaine from Kumasi to Wa through the Bole enclave.
