The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Lower Manya Krobo, Hon. John Atteh Matey, says all funds received by the municipality to support persons with disabilities have been fully disbursed to beneficiaries.
According to him, the Municipal Assembly remains committed to ensuring that financial assistance meant to improve the livelihoods of persons with disabilities reaches the intended beneficiaries.
During an interview with kwamina Sam Biney on Bryt Adekyee Mu Nsem on bryt fm Hon. John Atteh Matey explained that the funds were distributed to eligible persons with disabilities in the municipality to support their various needs and livelihood activities.
He said the Assembly would continue to work with relevant stakeholders to promote the welfare and economic empowerment of persons with disabilities across Lower Manya Krobo.
The MCE further urged beneficiaries to make good use of the support provided to improve their livelihoods and contribute to the development of their communities.
He reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability in the management and distribution of funds allocated for disability support in the municipality.
