The COVID-19 case count in Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region has risen to 105 with 34 recoveries.
Confirmed cases in the Nkawkaw as of June 12, 2020 was 32.
Three babies – 6month old, one year, and two years old tested positive in Nkawkaw have also recovered.
The Municipal Health Director Celestine Asante has meanwhile told Nkawkaw based Agoo FM on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, that many of the patients are asymptomatic therefore expected to be discharged this week in accordance with World Health Organization (WHO) new discharge protocols.
Celestine Asante stated that no fatality has been recorded in the Municipality.
Eastern Regional tally stands at 374 as of June 22, according to Ghana.
Ghana has recorded 14,154 accumulated confirmed cases of Coronavirus with 10,434 recoveries but with 85 fatalities.
Active cases currently stand 3,596.
