Founder and Leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo has said that the country’s incapability to develop is due to the corruptible attitudes of our Politicians.
Speaking on Accra based- radio station, Kofi Akpaloo opined that the practice of our politicians paying money in exchange for votes must be avoided because such footsteps can harm the future generation.
According to him, if a candidate is found of paying money or giving freebies in exchange for votes must face rigors of the law because they don’t want fair elections to proceed in the country.
Mr. Akpaloo however, cautioned parliamentary aspirants who allegedly influence delegates with money and items in the recent New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary primaries to desist from such corruptible insolences.
“I have advised my party members to desist from such practices in the upcoming election in a way to obtain peaceful election,” he said
Kofi Akpaloo, therefore, appealed to Ghanaians to immensely votes for his party to win the 2020 presidential seat to abolish the corruption in Ghana politics.
