Ghana Health Service has reported that 22 COVID-19 cases are severe, eight critical, and six persons on a ventilator as of 1st July 2020.
According to the Health Service, a total confirmed cases in Ghana are 18,630 and Recoveries stand at 14,046.
Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma Aboagye, made this known to the media on Thursday, at a news briefing in Accra.
He added that a total of 12 infrastructures are being upgraded across Ghana to aid the treatment of coronavirus patients and the infrastructures are also being upgraded for the isolation of suspected Coronavirus patients.
The Director-General said testings for coronavirus have not stopped in the country and the Health Directorate is expecting Personal Protective Equipment for Health workers, Testing and Isolation Centers.
