Ashantigold goalkeeper Frank Boateng has reiterated his desire to win a continental trophy (CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup) with the miners.
Boateng, who joined the Obuasi based club from Techiman City had a scintillating performance in the truncated Ghana Premier League season.
He went eight games clear without conceding a single goal.
Speaking to Kumasi based Angel FM, he said, “My target is to participate and win Africa for Ashantigold. As a player, you need to aim big and it is my main target to win more trophies for the club”
Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Ashantigold have been selected to represent Ghana in the next years Africa inter-club competitions.
