Former president of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings has said that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) may collapse due to some actions the party has taken.
This prediction was made after a book was published by one of the leading members of NDC, the book was titled “working with Rawlings”
The book which was written by Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi showed his experience while working with the founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Jerry John Rawlings.
The former president believes that what the party he has toiled for, may crumble as people like Ahwoi and others want to take over the opposition party.
The book has revealed some polemics within the political party and some members like Mr Dan Abodakpi had their names mentioned which indicates that they may have triggered some reaction from the Former president or incurred his wrath.
“Much as I find it tiring and tedious to be engaging in self-defence when I have given my all, all these years, I will soon deal with the callous agenda of bile by the likes of Kwamena Ahwoi, who are desperately seeking control of the NDC party”, Rawlings said.
Adding his voice that” The NDC could, should and has survived on the authority of the word but if care is not taken, it will collapse and drown as has been happening, on the word of those in authority”.
