The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah will open a one-day exhibition on Thursday about the coronavirus pandemic at the forecourt of the Ministry in Accra.
The exhibition is being organized by the Ghana Photojournalists Network to honor this year’s World Photography Day under the theme ‘Ghana’s fight against Covid-19 the Role of Photojournalists.
This is the first in history, and it is geared towards educating the public on the dangers related to Covid-19 and its consequences as well as promoting safety among the citizenry.
In a statement, Ag. Communications Director of the organization, Nii Adjei Mensahfio, the exhibition will feature a display of 50 photos from members of the Network across the country.
The exhibition will emphasize the various themes including prevention and safety, efforts and its agencies, corporate bodies relevant and civil society organizations in stopping the spread of the virus, and also talk about the effects of the pandemic on the socio-economic and socio-cultural life of Ghanaians.
In the press they issued, it was stated that all the Covid-19 safety protocols will be enforced during the exhibition.
