The Vice President, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has asserted that his government is all about a complete development package of the country.
Flaunting the numerous infrastructural projects by the ruling President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo around the country, he supported his statement.
According to him, there is numerous task to be completed, it hasn’t limited the president in completing most of his infrastructural projects in the country since he assumed power.
He made this statement whilst speaking at the Government Result Fair at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences in Accra, where he also explained that the initiation of social intervention programs and some ongoing projects by the NPP shows the party’s determination to build a better country.
“If it comes to just infrastructure, anybody can build it. We’re not just building infrastructure. We’re building a nation,” Dr Bawumia added.
“We’re building all this infrastructure while staying committed to providing Free Senior High School Education, creating jobs, transforming agriculture, industrializing the economy, sustaining the National Health Insurance Scheme, digitizing the economy and ensuring the public safety of Ghanaians and keeping the lights on.”
He also disclosed that the NPP government has introduced 17,334 infrastructure projects since 2017 with 8,746 completed.
