Afrobeat Singer and powerful vocalist, Henry Nuamah, known in the entertainment industry as Krymi has come out to say that he is not bothered when some music lovers say he sounds like a female artiste anytime he sings.
“I’m not offended when people perceive my voice to be that of a female artiste. Seriously I don’t have any problem with that. I think that it’s only unique to have a voice that cuts across a particular range. It’s all part of the reasons why I’m unique as an artiste.” he said
According to him, people think his voice is not genuine due to the soothing nature of his voice making them think his voice is auto-tuned.
“So, as for that one, I’m not worried about it at all. I only need to explain to them that this is how I sing and it’s my real voice. It is not made up and that’s the only thing I have to explain to some people. Because when they hear my voice some people say its auto-tune, some say it’s mixed up,” he added.
“But when they get to hear me personally then they say wow that’s not the case. I’m not bothered about that because my voice is natural and that’s what God blessed me with,” Krymi told Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central.
