The Head pastor of the Victory Bible Church International, Hwekper, Odumase-Krobo; Rev Enoch Kodjo Addymen, has advised Christians and individuals not to force themselves to keep what God wants them to let go.
“For if you don’t let go, you will not open up for new things in life, and the many blessings that God has for you”, he said.
He made this sermon last Sunday at the Bread of Life auditorium at Hwekper, Odumase-Krobo, as part of activities to mark the 5th anniversary of the inauguration of Kloma Hengme.
He preached on the theme ”Behold, I Will Do Something New”.
Rev Addymen, who is also member of Kloma Hengme, said some disappointments and mistakes have happened in your life, and if you still hold on to them you cannot make it in life, you cannot move on life, and that, before God can do anything new in your life, you must forget about the past, and let go.
Reading from Isaiah Chapter 43:18 and John Chapter 6 to buttress his point, he said there are some people, individuals, etc that right from the beginning, they are not meant for you. They were a mistake in your life right from the beginning. And according to the Man of God, no matter what you do, they will still leave you. They cannot be kept. And therefore, ”You must not force to keep what God wants you to let go”.
”Even God has to let Satan go away, you can imagine if He should still accommodate him in heaven. Leave that disappointment. From the beginning, they were not meant for us. They were not meant to be in your life. It was a mistake that you encountered them in the first place. So don’t kill yourself because they left you. You must let go, for the right people to come into your life, for the right people to follow you.
He further stated categorically that, ”When the right person is in your life, no matter your shortcomings, no matter your mistakes and challenges, they will still be with you, and stick to you forever”.
”As we enter the New Year, don’t kill yourself because of the past. Your future is so great. Don’t let anyone suppress you and your destiny. Let go, for new things to move into your life. Don’t dwell in the past. Those who rejected you today will see you tomorrow and bow to you in shame. The fact that you are still alive, your life is great. Once there is life, there is hope for you”, he said.
On Kloma Hengme, he said the members of the association must continue to remain united since together, we have so much to achieve.
“For KH [Kloma Hengme] to continue moving on, forget what that member did to you. Forget what that Executive may have done to you. Forget what that sister did to you. Forget how that member responded to your message on the page. Move on. Let go. Let us continue to live together as a family. Together, we can do so much. Together, we can get there. Together, we can create a better future for ourselves, we can do greater things ”.
