Former Black Stars B skipper, Isaac Twum says he is unmoved by Black Stars snub and has vowed to work tirelessly to break into the team in due time.
Twum made his Black Stars debut under James Kwasi Appiah in 2017 and has since not returned to the team.
Although the former Inter Allies midfielder says he is not keen about earning call-up into the national team as he aims to help his outfit, Mjøndalen survives relegation.
He has vowed to break into the team at the appropriate time and is of the view he will maintain his place in the team as soon as he gets the opportunity again.
Asked if he was disappointed with Black Stars snub, he said, “Why will I be disappointed? As I speak my team is not performing, my aim now is to help them survive relegation. The performance of my team also counts in getting a call-up. So I hope I can help my team out”
“I know the time will come for me to be with the Black Stars and if I’m able to break into the team, there would not be any turning back,” he told Sarkodie Spanky of Bryt FM in Koforidua.
