Managing Director of Hearts of Oak, Frederick Moore has insisted that the departure of attacking duo, Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi will not affect the club in the forthcoming Ghana Premier League season.
The Accra based club has been dealt with a massive blow after losing their both Esso and Kordzi to Dreams FC and Muaither SC of Qatar in the ongoing transfer window but according to the MD, he is not perturbed about the exit of those players.
Following the exit of the club’s prize assets, management received a lot of backlash from the media and supporters
However, Mr Moore has insisted that the Phobians will not feel the absence of the players.
“The departure of Esso and Kofi Kordzi will not affect us. We have enough quality to compete.” He told Akoma FM.
Asked about why the club allowed Esso to leave the club, he said, “Silence is golden” rather than spill the circumstances which were absent in the media.
“There are things I know and Esso knows which are not known to the public. I am not willing to put it in the public domain but what I can say is that our decision was in the interest of Hearts of Oak,” he stressed.
