Ghana has recorded two more COVID-19 related deaths and the country’s death count has increased from 301 to 303 from March to 1st October 2020.
Active cases of the Pandemic in Ghana have increased from 413 as of 27th September 2020 to 466.
This figure includes 220 Ghanaian Evacuees from Lebanon, according to the Ghana Health Service report.
The GHS in its latest data on Covid-19 indicates that the total case count is 46,829 with 46,060 Recoveries as of 1st October 2020.
According to GHS’ latest report, 12 patients are in Severe, four in critical condition, and two others are on ventilators.
The test conducted so far stands at 488,427.
The COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
The first two cases in Ghana were confirmed on 12 March 2020, when two infected people came to Ghana, one from Norway and the other from Turkey.
