A two-year-old girl has been killed and thrown into a public toilet at Sefwi Akoti in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality of the Western North Region.
Nana Kwasi Buadu, Sanaahene of Akoti Traditional Council told Bryt Fm news that the mother of the deceased who is a teenager is said to have allegedly sold her baby to some young men.
According to him, the suspect again told the police that, the father of the deceased had denied responsibility for the child, hence her decision to get rid of her.
The body has been retrieved by the person and deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
Meanwhile, the cause of her death is yet to be ascertained.
However, she is yet to confirm if indeed she sold the baby for money or was deceived by the young men for their own spiritual wishes.
