As Ghana is approaching December 7 polls, the Eastern Regional Manager for Ghana National Ambulance Service, Gaani Michael Dimongso has revealed that they need an incident-free election as a result of their preparedness to deliver good service to Ghanaians in terms of an emergency.
According to Gaani Michael Dimongso, state agencies including the Ambulance Service, Ghana Armed Forces, Ghana Police Service, National Security, Ghana Health Service, BNI, Ghana National Fire Service, Immigration Service, and some other state agencies are well-prepared to deals with incidents that must lead to the humanitarian crisis during the general elections.
Gaani Michael Dimongso also explained that their purpose for collaborating among state institutions is to handle emergencies, disasters, and disputes during the elections.
He added that misunderstandings can occur because Election is the responsibility of a citizen which comprises actions and attitudes associated with democratic governance and social participation adding that state agencies are ready to assist the country and make the election smoothly and peaceful.
Speaking in an interview with Bryt Fm reporter, Nartey Solomon, the Eastern Regional Manager for (NAS) educated that resources were being wasted when people develop the habit of the plan calls hence he advised Ghanaians to desist such behaviors.
Gaani Michael Dimongso indicated that Nkawkaw, Suhum, Nsawam, and Anyinam are the accidents free zone in the Eastern Region.
“Ambulances were distributed to all constituencies to serve Ghanaians in terms of emergency and it has subsidized in the healthcare delivering system,’’ Gaani Michael Dimongso told Solomon Nartey.
“The distribution of the ambulances has helped Ghanaians to have access to the National Ambulance Service adding that it has contributed in the Health sector,’’ said Gaani Michael Dimongso.
