Inter Allies assistant trainer, Tony Lokko is optimistic that his outfit will be ready before the commencement of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
The domestic top-flight league is set to return next month after six months of hiatus and according to the coach, his charges will get back to their best ahead of the new season.
In an interview with Koforidua based Bryt FM, he said, “When it came out that the league will be starting in November, we quickly assembled our players, and training took off just a week after the announcement. We started doing some sort of scouting to make sure we fill find a replacement for players who left the club”
“We are doing our possible best to make sure that gap is filled of which we have not filled it yet”
“I think my boys have not reached full fitness due to the long break but gradually we are progressing. Come what may everybody should be ready and I’m sure we will be ready before we kick off” he said.
Inter Allies takes on Dreams FC in matchday one of the Ghana Premier League.
