The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Kwaku Asomah-cheremeh, has rolled out a Community Mining Scheme for some four communities in the Ashanti Region and revealed that the Ministry is expected to create 16,100 jobs.
He said the figure is made up of 12,400 direct and 3,700 indirect jobs that be created by the Scheme and it aligns with the government’s agenda of job creation.
