General Manager of Accra Great Olympics, Oloboi Commodore has vehemently stated that the two-time MTN FA Cup champions, Medeama SC is overrated after sharing the spoils with the Tarkwa based club in the Ghana Premier League season opener.
Medeama SC endured a shaky start to their 2020-21 season with a 1-1 draw at home to Great Olympics on Sunday.
A goal in each half ensured the two teams shared the spoils at the Akoon Park.
Defender Ali Ouattara opened the scoring for the Mauve and Yellow with a powerful header in the first half.
But the visitors pulled parity after Michael Yeboah headed in the equalizer.
A chunk of Ghanaians have tipped the Tarkwa based outfit to win this season league title but according to Oloboi Commodore, the club is being overrated.
“I think that Medeama have been overrated. Coronavirus has affected football but in my point of view they are being overhyped” he said.
