Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Aduana Stars, Evans Oppong has described postponement of their opening day fixture against Hearts of Oak as a blessing in disguise for the Phobians.
The fire boys Ghana Premier League Match-day 1 clash against Hearts of Oak was called off by the Ghana Football Association due to coronavirus scare and according to the Aduana Stars scribe, the Accra based club were lucky that the game did not come on.
In an interview, he said, “Hearts of Oak were very lucky because we could have humiliated them. I will urge all the club supporters to go to church on Sunday with white cloth and give thanks to God”
He continued that, “We intended to disgrace Hearts, give them the shock of their life and also crucify the team in Dormaa. We were prepared for the game both mentally, spiritually and physically but it was unfortunate the game was postponed”
“If things go the way we expect we will definitely defeat them whenever the game is played” he emphasized.
