Ashantigold striker Hans Kwofie is rallying his teammates to aim at a win in their CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round clash against Salitas FC of Burkina Faso.
According to him, the miner’s target is to win convincingly in the first leg to brighten their chances of making it to the next stage of the competition.
The miners who were drawn against giants Salitas FC will play at home in the first leg at the Len Clay Sports Stadium on November, 29 before travelling to Burkina Faso for the second leg on December 4.
The winner of this tie will take on the winner between Sudanese side Alamal Atbara and KVZ Sports Club of Zanzibar in the first round of the competition.
“This match is not a match to draw, a draw for us is a defeat so we will go all out for the three points. We are not just going to win but we want to score more goals because we are in the knockout stage” he told Silver FM in Kumasi.
“If we are not able to score more it will affect us when we go there. So I will urge my teammates to be determined to make it at this stage” he said.
