Political Science Lecturer at UEW has counseled Ghanaians to vote for candidates who truly deserve to win due to their good works and policies.
According to him, since the election is fast approaching and the aspirants are thirsty for the power they will say and do anything to win the favor of Ghanaians but it is up to the electorates to make a decision that will benefit Ghanaians.
“We are voting in few days and because of that presidential aspirants will say anything that will convince you to vote for them but the decision for a better country depends on your vote so make it count”, he said.
He added that the candidates should desist from lying to the citizens or trying to incite them, they should just deliver their message and leave the electorates to make their decision.
He pleaded with Ghanaians to avoid any forms of violence on the voting day so they don’t ruin their lives for politicians.
“You will be arrested and the politician you are fighting for will be sleeping peacefully so do not support any form of violence, just go and vote”, he pleaded.
Meanwhile, a total of 109,557 security officers, media personnel and other groups who will be engaged on December 7th are taken part in the special voting exercise today Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa, told the media on Monday that all is set for Tuesday’s election.
