The Member of Parliament for Kumbungu constituency, Ras Mubarak says Ghana will not be peaceful if Jean Mensa still holds the chair as an Electoral Commissioner.
To him, the longer Jean Mensah stays in the office, the more problems she will create for the country, yet she has to resolve the havoc she has caused before she leaves the office.
Reacting to the decision by the EC to go on break today, Wednesday, December 23, 2020, and return on January 19, 2020, Ras Mubarak admitted the EC is not Jean Mensa’s private property thus she can’t run the country as she wants.
Speaking on Accra based radio-station, Ras Mubarak indicated that Jean Mensa’s idea of shutting down her office is a result of her incompetence and that is why she is running away without anybody chasing her.
“If Jean Mensa has not created problems, why is she shutting down the office for three weeks? This woman should not resume back to the office again to continue her terrible work.
“It is better for her to resolve the crisis before she goes on break,” he added.
