The New Juaben South Municipality, in the Eastern regional capital, has been engulfed with filth during this Christmas season.
Heaps of refuse are visible on streets while dustbin containers in parts of the Municipality overflowing with domestic waste generated mostly from kitchens of households over a week ago.
The degradable wastes are decomposing attracting houseflies on these heaps of garbages increasing the vulnerability of the spread of diseases among residents.
The Municipal waste is collected by the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly and Zoomlion.
