President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has made it clear that the global pandemic of COVID-19 threatened to derail the progress of his government.
According to him, COVID-19 disrupted the progress chalked in his three years as president but the proactive decisions taken by his government have improved economic prospects in the middle term.
This came to light during his last Nation’s address in his first term as the president of Ghana, he added that his government has been able to stabilize the economy of the country.
