Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak trainer Kosta Papic has disclosed that he did not join the club because of money, clearly revealing he would have been in China if he needed financial benefits.
The 60-year-old rejoined the club last month for his second stint following Edward Nii Odoom’s “unimpressive” form.
Kosta Papic had his first stint with Accra Hearts of Oak in the 2008/2009 season before he parted ways with the Phobians halfway into the season.
Speaking to Pure FM, he confirmed he has signed a 2-year deal with the Phobians but rescinded to detailed the contract.
According to him, Ghanaian clubs does not have money and is of the view his move to Hearts was not based on money.
“I signed a 2-year contract with Hearts and what is in the contract is between me and the club”
“Ghanaian clubs don’t have money and we are not talking about money. I would have been in China if I needed a lot of money I’m Hearts Coach and will remain in Hearts” he said.
