A motorcycle rider and his pillion are in critical condition after the motorbike they were riding crashed with a pickup vehicle Sunday afternoon at Akyem Bosuso in Fanteakwa North District of the Eastern Region.
The Motorbike rider was speeding from Begoro direction of the road towards Akyem Osiem but upon reaching Bososu community refused to reduce his speed crashing into a pickup vehicle negotiating a curve to the community.
The rider and the pillion sustained life-threatening injuries. Both had fractured legs with blood oozing from their bodies.
The rider was unconscious when they were put into a taxi and rushed to Hawa Memorial Hospital in Akyem Osiem for emergency attention.
