Nii Abehenease Kortey Susubribi Onyabrimpong I, GA Abease mantse has called on the president of the republic H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, Ga west municipal chief executive Hon. Clement Willinton and the authorities in charge of education to come into their aid and establish a single public basic school at Abease.
According to him, since there are only private schools and no government schools in the area, residents find it difficult to take their children to school due to financial constraints, and for that matter can’t afford to pay for the fees of their children.
He personally pledged to refund the money to all those people who have bought lands allocated for the construction of public schools at Abease in the Ga West municipality.
Nii Kortey Susubribi Onyabrimpong made this appeal at Abease when he engaged the people of Abease to sensitize them on how to adhere to the safety protocols of the COVID-19.
He added that, due to lack of public education, teenage pregnancy and criminalities go high in the community.
Some members of the community added their concerns to the Chief’s submission, they said lack of other social amenities such as a clinic, public toilets and refuse bin to collect waste are making live difficult.
