Naa Awo Dromo I, Development Queen-mother at the Ga Traditional Council has emphasized that she will rather endorse activities of LGBTQ+ instead of criminals who carry guns around terrorizing others.
She has added that the sexual preferences of others must be tolerated and rather focus on how to develop the country like other countries.
Speaking to the media after her installation, Naa Awo Dromo I insisted that, there is no need to chastise and attack those involved in such activities as some may have had bad experiences with the opposite sex.
“We don’t need to assault those into gay and other activities but we should rather help them with counseling and prayers. I am saying this because many of them have had challenges in their relationships with the opposite sex” she told Dadi FM Nana Kwabena Appiah.
However, Naa Awo Dromo I assured the traditional council of her continuous effort to ensure the development of Accra and also assist many of the youth to secure jobs, as it is a major challenge over the past years.
