I am disgusted by how this particular church folks are handling Ravi Zacharias even in his death – for lack of a better word, it is plain stupidity!
It is sardonic, lugubrious, inane, insane, that Men, mere mortals, with their own special kind of frailties, have the audacity and the impetus to sit in Moses’ seat and dare to attempt to completely eradicate the undiluted and undisputed Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ which this Great Man of God gave to this World!
This is actually Satanic, it is counter-productive to decide that a Man of God, who blessed the world with so much quality rich content of the Gospel, should be denigrated to a point where even in his death, the church is embarking on eradicating all his messages from the ministry THAT HE FOUNDED! And even remove his name completely from all the brand of the works of his own sweat for the Gospel.
Did Ravi preach himself? Did he project himself as a perfect moralist? Was he preaching Jesus or preaching his own life? Yes, I get that logic that Christianity being preached must reflect in the life of the Preacher, but does that logic hold the requirement of the preacher being an absolutely infallible Man?
If we all have to wait till the day our ways are Perfect and completely upright before God in order to preach the gospel, then we will start preaching when we die ooo, or God should send Angels down here to Preach his Gospel to the lost! Because the Pastor who manipulates brethren, and the Pastor who steals and misappropriate church funds and a Pastor who sleeps with church members, they are all men of flaws eventhough the flaws are not same.
This is EXACTLY why many people don’t like the Church, because instead of us to help others who are weak to get strong by helping them grow and reform unto spiritual maturity, we suck away their little strength, crucify them, make them weaker and in many cases, kill their zeal for God and totally lose them to the World – something Jesus himself will not do to even a Sinner.
And that’s why someone with chronic masturbation addiction is afraid to open up to church leadership, he doesn’t know who to trust or who will genuinely be willing to help him out. This is why that beautiful choir director gets pregnant by fornication and proceeds for a greater mistake by abortion, because of the fear of how she will be torn apart by an overrated Sanhedrin made up of men who are full of worse sins which they have cleverly managed to make them appear as saints.
How does banishing his materials benefit the Kingdom? What about millions of Souls who were saved by him and brought into Salvation? What about the immense knowledge and mature content that his ministry gave to the body of Christ?
Then that Church should create their own bible and banish some books from it, we should never read Psalms, Proverbs, Songs of Solomon, Genesis, etc again because clearly the Men who wrote these bible books didn’t just commit fornication or adultery, they were murderers!
I can write a whole book on this subject, but ENOUGH OF HYPOCRISY AND PHARISEE THINKING in the Body of Christ. If we subject all those Church leaders to Strict Proof, how many of them will stand a clean slate of both legal and moral sanctity? Don’t we know of Churches for example, whose leadership evade taxes by moving money illegally that is tantamount to Money Laundering? Have we stopped worshipping God in such Churches on the basis of their own imperfections?
These RZIM folks missed a golden opportunity to use Ravi’s rather unfortunate affairs to have taught the world that Men of God have frailties too and that simply makes them human and as such, our ultimate perfect example is JESUS!
Please, give Pastors a break, they are humans and trying really hard, give Ravi a Break! I am angry!
Please note, I am not a Pastor, will likely never be one, but I am passionate about the Kingdom and as a Christian, we must not watch our Pastors and leaders be torn down and destroyed by the people of the world, let alone a church leadership!
