Ghana’s COVID -19 Active cases have now dropped from about 8,000 in the Middle of February 2021 to 3,908 in 10th March 2021.
But COVID -19 related deaths has jumped to 685 with 22 others in critical and 50 in severe condition.
Ghana has confirmed 87,763 COVID cases for the past one year and recorded 83,169 recoveries.
The number of test conducted as of 10th March 2021 stands at 942,348.
The government says it is working to secure additional 20 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines in order to ensure that it achieves head immunity by the end of 2021.
The move will ensure that majority of Ghanaians are vaccinated against the deadly disease.

At least 262,335 Ghanaians received their first doses of the AstraZeneca vaccines as part of the first batch of COVID-19 vaccinations in Ghana, and an additional 17.6 million vaccine doses are expected to be delivered by June, with more to come in the course of the year.
The government has proposed the introduction of a COVID-19 health levy to support the efficient performance of the health sector during the COVID-19 outbreak.
