A total of 193 new cases of COVID -19 have been recorded in Ghana with seven new deaths.
The Number of COVID-19 related deaths has been increased from 698 to 705 as of 14th March 2021.
Ghana’s COVID -19 Active cases have dropped from 3,701 to 3,621 as of 14th March 2021.
Ghana Health Service report indicates that 18 patients are in critical and 47 in severe condition.
Ghana has confirmed 88,421 COVID cases for the past year and recorded 84,095 recoveries.
The number of tests conducted so far stands at 955,937.
The government says it is working to secure additional 20 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to ensure that it achieves head immunity by the end of 2021.
Over 300,000 Ghanaians have received their first doses of the AstraZeneca vaccines as part of the first batch of COVID-19 vaccinations in Ghana, and an additional 17.6 million vaccine doses are expected to be delivered by June, with more to come in the year.
